Use empty wipe bins to store dry wipe cloths. Use the travel size to store pre-moistened cloths . |
You need:
1/4 cup baby soap (I use Burt's Bees- when the budget isn't tight) (to cleanse)
1/4 cup baby oil or some vegetable oil (to make it glide easily)
16 drops pure essential oil (I use tea tree oil for antibacterial purposes)
2 cups water
spray bottle (Ikea sells nice sized ones)
One bottle of solution should last 2 weeks if you moisten the cloths with water before spraying them. |
baby wash cloths cut in half
large Wipe bin (to store baby wash clothes)
travel size wipe bin (to store pre-moistened baby wash clothes)
It is a good idea to keep a few pre-moistened wipes handy. Moisten and wring liquid out of the cloths. Spray each side with wipe solution. Place wipes flat in travel size bin. |
Simple enough isn't it? Pour the water, oil, soap, essential oil in to the spray bottle in that order. Give it a shake and you are good to swipe my wipes!
Tips:
Spray the solution on the cloths and then wipe the area. It is easier if the cloths are wet first. You can also use paper towels. Another method is using pre-moistened clothes that you keep in the travel size wipe container.

Hi!
I found you through blog frog. Love your ideas!
We tried cloth diapers with our oldest, 20 years ago. My husband wanted to do his part for the environment. But when things started leaking out all over me, I put an end to that!
Well cloth diapers have changed a lot over the years. I am really enjoying it - saving that extra money helps big time! thanks for stopping by and I really enjoyed your post!
